Philip Sparke, one of the most relevant composers and conductors on the international band scene, stars in this season's artist portrait. The commissioned work, Hymn at Twilight , is undoubtedly one of the attractions of the program, but also the Symphony no. 2 , dedicated to Savannah, an American city in the state of Georgia that fascinated the musician since he first visited it.

Three Washington Statues (Three Washington Statues) proposes a tour of the memorial sculptures of three important figures in the history of the country located in the capital of the United States: Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King and Duke Ellington. Spirit of Andalusia is a short piece that keeps alive the clichés of Spanish music based on jota rhythms and flamenco sounds, and Moving Heaven and Earth (Removent cel i terra), a theme and four variations of the fragment "quando coeli movendi sunt et terra" from Gabriel Fauré's Requiem .
