The Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and the Spanish National Orchestra (ONE) have postponed the exchange that was due to take place on the weekend of 12, 13 and 14 February. The project, which they were both really looking forward to, will now be moved to the 2022-23 season. The decision to postpone the OBC’s trip to Madrid and the ONE’s trip to Barcelona was taken jointly in accordance with the rules for the reduction of travel ordered as a Covid-19 prevention measure following the increase in cases seen in both autonomous regions.
As a result of this change, the OBC will perform in L’Auditori de Barcelona the program it planned to perform in Madrid, with the change of two pieces in the repertoire and the change of the director of the program. Director Nuno Coelho will replace Kerem Hasan.
Tickets purchased for the ONE’s Sobre Don Giovanni concert that was to be held at L’Auditori will be valid for this concert.
