This Friday L’Auditori de Barcelona reopens its doors to the general public with a very special concert that will serves as the presentation in Barcelona of the album by Lina and Raül Refree.

These two incredible musicians generate an intense, moving and highly special musical relationship. Refree, one of the most innovative European producers of the last decade (Rosalía, Lee Ranaldo, etc.), was floored by Lina’s voice when he heard her singing at the Clube de Fado in Lisboa. Lina, a fado singer with classical training, two albums on Sony Music and an expert in Amália Rodrigues, chose some of the classics by the fado legend and immediately began working in the studio on a joint project with Refree.

The album they are presenting on Friday at 8 pm in Hall 2, Oriol Martorell at L’Auditori de Barcelona surprises us through the beauty of a project that offers a new approach to fado and an updating through the use of piano and analogue synthesisers, in the process underscoring its universal nature.

This concert marks the occasion of L’Auditori de Barcelona once again opening the doors of its halls to the public, strictly within the permitted limits, and continuing its activity, which has never really stopped and which has been able to continue, behind closed doors, through L’Auditori Digital.
