The OBC raises the skull and crossbones flag and sets sail for the Island of Tortuga!After the success of the first film, directed by Gore Verbinski, the Walt Disney factory has made four sequels (the last is scheduled for release in 2017). It had been many years since Hollywood had made a “pirate film” and there is no doubt that much of its success was due to the music composed by Klaus Badelt (Cat Woman, Miami Vice, Solomon Kane, etc.) and Hans Zimmer (The Prince of Egypt, Pearl Harbor, The Last Samurai, Gladiator, The Da Vinci Code, etc.), and orchestrated by a team of nine composers. It is a story which is as fun-filled, exciting and dramatic as its music.
