In an ever-wider treatment of historical interpretation,
many great musicians have delved into the music of the nineteenth century. On this occasion, and in a year in which Mendelssohn has a great place in L’Auditori’s programme, we compare two of the great works of Bach’s rediscoverer interpreted by the Freiburger Barockorchester which, with Pablo Heras-Casado and Isabelle Faust, gives as a new vision of this composer whom they will previously have recorded at the Sala Pau Casals.
