Nova producció d’ESCENES: arriben els ANIMAL RELIGION!

12-Nov-2014

SIFONÒFOR, featuring Animal Religion, today’s most irreverent circus company, is the upcoming attraction in the first season of ESCENES at L’Auditori.
The ESCENES programme, launched this season, presents four new productions. With this new programme, L’Auditori hopes to bring this type of event to a wider audience.

ESCENES began in November with a new production by Els Comediants and La Mama, entitled La Suite de l’aigua, a newly created scenic concert focusing on water. Stage management was by Joan Font (Els Comediants), who also worked with Jordi Pérez Solé on the script. The original idea and musical composition was by Carlota Baldrís. A poetic journey through water and its emotions with an exceptional team of performers and researchers. Through different artistic disciplines (audio-visual creation, electronic music, classical music and theatrical performance) they highlight the importance of water for human beings in their artistic laboratory.

In December the performance by Clown Leandre with the Barcelona Clarinet Players was a great success, filling the Christmas season with snow and magic in Sala 3 at L’Auditori. A landscape of cold, light and clarinet music that captivated young audiences and old with its humour and poetry.

Following their success at the Festival de Teatre al Carrer in Tàrrega, Animal Religion will be appearing in Sifonòfor, a new show promoted by L’Auditori, on February 20, 21 and 22. A performance of deconstructed contemporary circus, where music, dance, movement and acrobatics are blended in a daring, unmissable show.

Finally on June 5, 6 and 7 Escenes brings us the Goldberg Variations in an intimate, moving version by one of today’s leading dance improvisers, Jurij Konjar from Slovenia, appearing with Catalan harpsichordist Dani Espasa. This is one of the jewels offered by the Sâlmon Festival at the last Mercat de les Flors event.
