Antonio Díaz is a big fan of the singer, to the extent that he uses one of her songs, Gothenburg, in one of the tricks in his acclaimed show “La gran ilusión”. All the people coming to the concert by Maia Hirasawa at L’Auditori will be able to enjoy a very special moment as Antonio Díaz performs his magic on stage while Maia sings this song live. The singer-songwriter will be performing a concert filled with the hits that have kept her on top of the charts in her country and will also be presenting her latest single “Fight with Love”, which was released last autumn.
The performance by Maia Hirasawa will be the penultimate concert of VIKING MUSIK BCN, which ends on 11 June with a performance by El Perro del Mar. El Perro del Mar is the nickname of the Swedish pop songwriter Sarah Assbring. Considered one of the indie princesses of the moment, Assbring was nominated at the Swedish Grammy Awards in the categories of Best Album, Best Pop and Best Producer. The artist will be presenting her eagerly-awaited new work at L’Auditori.
VIKING MUSIK BCN is the programme of international artists at L’Auditori which this year has brought the biggest names on the Scandinavian scene to Barcelona. The season began with the acclaimed concert by José González, which sold out Sala 1. Also passing through L’Auditori were the electronic-age crooner Jay-Jay Johanson, Norwegian jazz diva Rebekka Bakken, the electronica of Bugge Wesseltoft and pop singer Emiliana Torrini (17/04). All of these international artists have been acclaimed by critics and audiences alike.
