L’Auditori de Barcelona presents a winter programme comprising 45 productions arranged into 58 concerts, with Creation at their core. The season will run from January to March and will feature major ensembles, conductors and soloists who will perform with the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and the Barcelona Symphony Band, as well as L’Auditori’s various musical formats. In addition, the winter programme will end with the Festival Emergents Barcelona, which is back to showcase some of the best talent of the future.
Since the start of the pandemic, L’Auditori de Barcelona has been making enormous efforts to offer top-quality programming and guarantee the safety of both musicians and audiences. These are difficult times for everyone, including the arts, which is why L’Auditori is today launching a new institutional campaign to ask the public to support music.
The video features pianist Josep Colom performing the aria from the Goldberg Variations by Johann Sebastian Bach with the message: “Music has always been by your side, now it needs you to stand by it. Let’s cherish music”. The goal of the audiovisual is to thank all those people who, despite the difficulties, continue to come to L’Auditori to enjoy live music. At the same time, it also wants to send a message to those who cannot come, that L’Auditori de Barcelona still needs them and is forging ahead with its work in preparation for their return.
