Karl-Heinz Steffens will stand in for Pinchas Steinberg to conduct Mahler’s “Tragic” Symphony ‎

13-Nov-2018 – Aleix Palau

The conductor Karl-Heinz Steffens will conduct the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra ‎performing Gustav Mahler’s “Tragic” Symphony, No. 6 in A minor, in place of Pinchas ‎Steinberg, who will not be taking part in this production in Barcelona for reasons beyond the ‎control of L’Auditori. ‎

The tenth programme of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra season will take place in Hall 1, ‎the Pau Casals Hall, of L’Auditori on 18, 19 and 20 January. Mahler’s “Tragic” Symphony is one ‎of the most impressive symphonic landmarks of all time.
