Christmas at L’Auditori de Barcelona is a time for the whole family to enjoy. This year the line-up brings us one of the classics from L’Auditori’s Educational Project, Ma, me, mi… Mozart. On 29 and 30 January, youngsters will be able to enjoy works by the Salzburg composer performed by six musicians with arrangements for voice, accordion, bass clarinet, violin, flugelhorn, and plucked string instruments.

In 2021, on 3 January, we will be welcoming in the year with the traditional New Year Concert by the Barcelona Symphony Band. A must-see in the city’s Christmas calendar that will amaze audiences with the premiere of a new puppet show including music by Francesco Cesarini, based on the story ofPuss in Boots. We will hear and see the story of a cunning cat who uses his wits to get his master to marry the king’s daughter. A most appealing concert for the whole family where The Coronation March and the tale of The Nutcracker, from Tchaikovsky’s ballet, get the party started, followed by some of the most humorous works from Shostakovich, among others, all conducted by José R. Pascual-Vilaplana.

Once all the seasonal meals have been digested, it will be time for Revisiting The Godfather, on 9 January, with the Barcelona Art Orchestra and its unique tribute to the soundtrack of the film The Godfather, which it imbues with a jazz vibe thanks to the work of its conductors Lluís Vidal, Néstor Giménez, Lucas Casares, and Juan Vidal.

The €39 pack contains a €30 gift card redeemable for tickets to concerts within our season, and a notebook, a pencil and a face mask from L’Auditori de Barcelona.

The €59 pack contains a €50 gift card redeemable for tickets to concerts within our season, and a notebook, a pencil and two face masks from L’Auditori de Barcelona.

These Christmas packs are in addition to the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra winter season ticket, which allows you to choose from our concert menu. If you buy tickets for three concerts, you get a 25% discount, and if you buy tickets for five concerts, you get a 30% discount on the total price.

There is also a Symphony Band season ticket that gives you a 20% discount when you buy tickets for four or more concerts during the winter season.
