Mónica Naranjo’s reason for going on tour backed by a symphony orchestra, with a repertoire based on some of the greatest hits from her career, lies in her desire to delve deeply into her repertoire, bringing a new intensity to her more popular songs and putting her whole heart into them once again. Her artistic energy took her along this path, as she sought a way of offering her audience a feeling of closeness, transforming each concert into a more intimate act of communication between artist and audience, something that is not there in large-scale tours, something she felt was missing and which for the first time she is able to do in Spain to her delight and that of her many fans.
The Symphonic Film Orchestra of Madrid, together with the Nur Choir, conducted by Pep Herrero and performing his adaptations, will be accompanying Mónica Naranjo on the MN Adagio Tour, conveying a selection of songs from her repertoire to the world of symphony music, creating a sense of magic, passion and romanticism, offering landscapes of precious and delicate subtlety to orchestral tutti apotheoses.
