We regret to inform you that James Blake’s concert, scheduled for 27 April as part of L’Auditori’s Sit Back series and that was co-produced with Primavera Sound, has been cancelled. The artist has decided to call off his European tour as a result of the public health crisis caused by COVID-19.

James Blake has sent us the following statement:

“Hello everyone. Owing to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the changing nature of travel permits and the various quarantines around the world, as well as potential future restrictions, it is with great sadness that I have had to cancel my European tour. It has been a very hard decision to make, but the safety of my fans, my band and my team is always my overriding priority. Much love to everyone. Please, take good care of yourselves”.

James Blake’s concert was one of the must-see events in the Sit Back series, where L’Auditori champions modern music. The season, that this year has enjoyed great success with concerts such as those by Pau Vallvé and María José Llergo, will conclude in May with PAVVLA.
