L. V. Beethoven: Violin Concerto in D major, op. 61 (1806) 47'
Antonín Dvorák: New World Symphony (1893) 47'
Pinchas Zukerman, violin
Tatsuya Shimono, conductor
Pinchas Zukerman is the master of masters of modern violinism. Heir of Milstein, Heifetz, and Stern, he is the best depository of the greatest violin tradition in history. We could not miss the opportunity for him to perform Beethoven's Violin Concerto.
Tatsuya Shimono is the Japanese master closest to the European interpretation tradition. We were looking forward to introducing him at Ibercamera for a long time and we are sure that his perform of the New World Symphony will open the doors of the Season. He will visit us with the Sinfonia Varsovia, recognized as the best orchestra in Poland.
