More widely known as a teacher than a musical creator, being recognised as such cast into oblivion works like Les set paraules de Crist a la creu (1943) based on a text by Fèlix Castellà and considered one of the great works from the catalogue of a composer who played a key role in the commitment to reconstructing Catalan music following the Spanish Civil War.
