By the seventeenth century the Feast of Corpus Christi had already been celebrated for many years in Berga. The tunes we hear today were already enlivening the parades, and festivities were as popular then as now.
La Caravaggia presents the Patum based on recreations of what we know of those times, accompanied by artwork that helps put the music in context.
