Mahler’s Symphony no. 3 is a true hymn to nature, which at times may be lyrical, poetic and express meditation, while other moments are dominated by grandiosity and a great solemnity. In this masterpiece, the composer also expresses his usual uncertainties and anxieties, yet despite everything hope with religious references ends up triumphing, although a profoundly human spirit dominates. From the nature that awakens to the elevation to the heights, from the terrestrial world to heaven, there is an unforgettable spiritual and musical experience.
