The most spectacular version by la Banda with music by Copland is a horn concerto with Juan Manuel Gómez as soloist and a very recent work by Valencian composer Juan Gonzalo Gómez Deval.The most spectacular version of Band is embodied in this concert with the music of American composer Aaron Copland who in the mid-twentieth century created works that have become true American classics. The words of Abraham Lincoln remind us that the fight for democracy continues. Parallel to this highly poignant music by Copland is a concerto for trumpet with Juan Manuel Gómez as soloist and a very recent work by Valencian composer Juan Gonzalo Gómez Deval.
