Ensemble O Vos Omnes, conducted by Xavier Pastrana, begins a three-year residency at L’Auditori this season, during which they’ll be performing a concert and recording the choral work of Manuel Oltra, whose centenary year is 2022. They will also be premiering a symphonic choral work by this season’s guest composer, Joan Magrané, together with the OBC, and The Plague, by Robert Gerhard.
Ensemble O Vos Omnes was founded in 2011 by Xavier Pastrana with the aim of connecting his repertoire with today’s world, making each concert a unique, warm and moving experience for everyone. Both their large-scale and small-scale works of Baroque music have been acclaimed by the trade press. Their performances of contemporary music, which have been recognised by renowned composers such as Bernat Vivancos and Joan Magrané, have also received a lot of attention.
