The Damm Foundation renews its collaboration with L’Auditori

The agreement was signed at the offices of the Damm Foundation, located in the former ‎Estrella Damm factory, during a meeting attended by Ramon Agenjo, vice president and ‎director of the Damm Foundation; Àlex Galí, general coordinator of the Damm Foundation; ‎Robert Brufau, director of L’Auditori; Isabel Balliu, manager of L’Auditori; and Tere Sánchez, ‎head of Sponsorship.‎
‎ ‎
Opened in March 1999 and designed by the architect Rafael Moneo, L’Auditori de Barcelona ‎has an area of 42,000 square metres and was the first concert hall in Spain to become a ‎member of the European Concert Hall Organisation.‎
‎ ‎
L’Auditori is also home to the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, the Barcelona Symphony Band ‎and the Museu de la Música. As a cultural institution, its aim is to bring Barcelona and ‎Catalonia worldwide recognition through its own ongoing and inclusive musical activities. Its ‎extensive social programme is complemented by an educational service, under the umbrella ‎of the Apropa Cultura programme, which is aimed at all types of audiences and seeks to ‎make culture accessible to everyone.‎
