Olga Pashchenko is one of the most versatile artists on keyboard instruments of today, performing on the organ, harpsichord, fortepiano and modern piano. Her repertoire reaches from Bach and Beethoven, which she likes to interpretate on historic instruments, to works by Ligeti and further composers of the 21st century. In her performances all over the world, she shows her passionate personality, virtuosity, richness of colour and sensitivity. She performs as a soloist, chamber musician and with orchestra, in collaboration with Alexander Melnikov, Teodor Currentzis, Alexei Lubimov or the Orchestra of the 18th Century or Il Gardelino. Highlights of her last season were recitals at the piano festival Ruhr, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam,  Vancouver Early Music Festival or concerts with Alexander Melnikov. Since 2014 she has been artist-in-residence at the Beethovenhaus in Bonn. She is a frequent guest at various international festivals like the Utrecht Early Music Festival, Radio France Festival in Montpellier or Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. She studied with Alexei Lubimov and Richard Egarr and graduated with honours from the Moscow and Amsterdam Conservatories. Since 2017 she has been a professor of fortepiano at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. Olga is a laureate of 14 international competitions, including the Early Music Competition in Bruges and the Bach Competition in Leipzig. She has an exclusive contract with Alpha and her recordings, such as  a recording of Mozart piano concertos with Il Gardellino attracted much international interest. Echo is the second album she recorded with the baritone Georg Nigl, following their successful CD Vanitas.
