Born in Llíria (Comunidad Valenciana - Spain) in a family of musicians, he began his musical studies when he was 5 years old at th music school Unió Musical de Llíria. Later, he continued his studies at the Superior Conservatory of Valencia and obtained the Honor Award at the end of the Elementary, Middle and Higher Grades.

In 1998 and 1999 he was awarded the third and second prize at the Ciudad de Dos Hermanas International Competition (Seville) where he participated together with the Seville Symphony Orchestra in the closing ceremony. In 1999 he won the first prize in the National Contest for Young Performers in the City of Xàtiva. The Federation of Bands of Comunidad Valenciana awarded him the Euterpe Award in 2001, due to his work in favor of Valencian Music.

He trained with B. Egger, E. Ventura, Joan Louis Sajot, Enric Lluna, D. Cambell and Antonio Sajote. He has worked with the conductors: Franz Paul Decker, Josep Maria Pons, Rafael Sanz Espert, Salvador Brotons, Pablo González, Pablo Heras-Casado, Enric Garcia Asensio, James Conlon, Valery Ovsyanikov, Christophe Rousset, Ivor Bolton and Björn Bus.

He has recorded for Radio Nacional de España, Catalunya Música, TV3, TVE, Deutsche Grammophon and Columna Música. He has been clarinet soloist with JORVAL and has collaborated with the Castilla and León Symphony Orchestra, the Valencia Symphony Orchestra and Radio Televisión Española Orchestra and Choir. He has also collaborated with the group BCN 216 and collaborates in the cycle of chamber concerts of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra.

During the 16-17 season he was part, as clarinet soloist, of the Madrid Symphony Orchestra and principal of the Teatro Real. In 2017 and 2019 he was invited to participate in the National Clarinet Congresses. Since 2002 he has been clarinet soloist with the Barcelona Municipal Band.

As a teacher, he teaches music courses in the cities of Almendralejo, Benissanó and at the Conservatory of Music of Castile-La Mancha.

Currently, he is a Selmer Privilege and Vandoren artist.
