Following the success of his album The Complete French Suites by JS Bach, Prego released The Goldberg Variations in 2016, becoming the first Spanish harpsichordist to record a solo album for the prestigious Glossa label. He released his fourth album dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach, Partitas & English Suite, in June 2022. It was presented in concert during the 22/23 season at the Utrecht Early Music Festival, the National Gallery in Washington DC, and music festivals in San Francisco, Valencia, Zamora and Burgos.
