Born in Barcelona in 1981, Gregori Ferrer studied at the conservatories of Terrassa and Barcelona, at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.

He has played the harpsichord, the piano and the accordion in concerts as a soloist and with various ensembles, such as the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra (OBC), Vespres d’Arnadí, the Brossa Quartet de Corda and the El Vallès Symphony Orchestra. He has also worked with choirs including the Coral Sant Jordi, the Coral Cantiga, the Cor Lieder Càmera and the Cor Madrigal.

Outside the world of early and classical music, he has collaborated with groups and artists from many different genres, such as Jaume Sisa, Maria del Mar Bonet, Alfonso Vilallonga, Els Amics de les Arts and Astrud.

He has also participated as a musician in various theatre projects at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya and the Teatre Lliure, including Shakespeare’s A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream, the opera L’eclipsi by Alberto García Demestres, and Els Jocs Florals de Canprosa by Santiago Rusiñol. He was musical director of Malalts del cel, a concert produced by the Grec Festival, and of Un musical de pel·lícula, for the Fundació “la Caixa”.

He currently combines his work as a concert performer and music arranger with that of repertoire performer at the Municipal Conservatory of Barcelona and at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC).
