Carlos Ramón was born in Crevillent (Alicante) in 1989. He holds a master's degree in trumpet from the Superior Conservatory of Music of Murcia and graduated in conducting from the Zuyd University – Conservatorium Maastricht (Netherlands), where he also obtained a Master's in Conducting in 2016 Teachers such as José R. Pascual-Vilaplana, Manuel Mondéjar Criado and Jan Cober are his mentors in the direction. He has attended seminars led by professors Alex Schillings, Felix Hauswirth, Eugene Corporon, Carlo Pirola, Johan de Meij, Rafael Sanz-Espert, László Marosi, Yves Segers and Douglas Bostock.
He has acted as a guest conductor with the Luxembourg Military Band "Grand Ducale" , the European Union Youth Wind Orchestra, the Municipal Band of Barcelona and the Municipal Band of Alicante.
In 2017 he won the 7th European Conductors Competition organized by the European Brass Band Association in Ostend (Belgium), and also won the special audience award. In July of the same year, he won the most important band conducting prize worldwide, the International Conductors Competition, part of the World Music Contest in Kerkrade, where he obtained the Golden Baton.
He has been principal director of the Agrupación Musical do Rosal (Pontevedra), the AMCE Santa Cecilia d'Elda and artistic director of the Young Symphonic Band of the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community. He is currently director of the Unión Musical Torrevejense and deputy director of the Barcelona Municipal Band.
