The BCN SAX QUARTET project is born from the need to live classical music from a modern sound, to recover the idea that what is popular is what inspires us to go further, to feel that daily and closer things cause reaction.

BSQ wants to create from the disorder and disorganize what is established, to prevent the spectator from settling on a specific result through a concert where the sound changes radically. An extreme declamation of the music that comes from the tradition where the intensity of sadness and oblivion is mixed, with the rhythmic and passionate sequences of the force of the present.

The BCN Sax Quartet is particularly appreciated because in its performances it re-establishes a link, sometimes lost, between the audience and the performer, and proposes the rediscovery of the classical saxophone based on the original repertoire. This quartet is distinguished by a fluid, intense style with an obsession for detail, offering its listeners brilliant and rigorous performances in an inspiring atmosphere.

Formed by four musicians with a long professional career, David Salleras on the soprano saxophone, Marta Romero on the alto saxophone, Joan Soler on the tenor saxophone and Daniel Molina on the baritone saxophone.
