Program

Shortly before his premature death, Italian composer Fausto Romitelli, together with video artist Paolo Pachini and the poet Kenka Lèkovich, created an ambitious video opera for soprano, ensemble, electronics and multi-projection. Images of reflections of luminous metals, three vividly gestural poems and an ensemble amplified and processed to the limit, to be used for a paradoxical work that maximises the possibilities of scenic music. A masterpiece of the new repertoire, innovative and melancholic in equal measures, in the hands of the Austrian ensemble PHACE and the extraordinary American soprano Daisy Press, conducted by Nacho de Paz.
