The Sixteen, one of the world's most renowned choirs, specialises in performing Renaissance polyphonic works. In this concert at L'Auditori they present a sample of some of the finest Italian polyphonic pieces from the period.
From Palestrina to Allegri, not forgetting Marenzio and Anerio, in a concert in which the force of the music of the counterreformation, the music that was sung in the Sistine Chapel, will accompany us on a voyage through the harmonies of perfect vocal balance.
