Juanjo Mena will conduct this free concert with a programme of works by Tchaikovsky, featuring solo violinist Sergei Dogadin.
25 June in Hall 1, Pau Casals.

On 25 June, the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra will give a special concert in Hall 1, Pau Casals for its season-ticket holders.

Juanjo Mena, one of the finest Spanish conductors on the international scene, will again lead the Orchestra in a programme dedicated entirely to works by Tchaikovsky, with the Pathétique Symphony and the Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D major, with soloist Sergei Dogadin.

Both Mena and Dogadin will feature prominently in the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra’s 2020-21 season programme, as the conductor will lead the Orchestra’s tour of Scandinavia and Dogadin will accompany the Orchestra as soloist on its tour of Catalonia.

The concert, which is one of the activities being prepared by L’Auditori for World Music Day (21 June), will be free and solely for Barcelona Symphony Orchestra season-ticket holders, to thank them for their unconditional support during the season. Season-ticket holders who wish to attend can obtain up to two tickets each.
