Sit Back presents the band Sun Kil Moon, fronted by Mark Kozelek.Sun Kil Moon is the one-of-a-kind project fronted by Mark Kozelek. His inimitable voice has accompanied texts that are always brilliant, intense and edgy, with a lyrical everydayness and a startling sensitivity. Ever since the essential Red House Painters disbanded, Kozelek has continued experimenting with different formats: solo folk, roots rock with Desertshore, electronica with Jimmy Lavelle… The latest offering from his most solid project is Sun Kil Moon, where he flirts with hip hop.
He will be presenting songs at L’Auditori including some from the new album This is my Dinner, written during his European tour last autumn, recorded between Europe and San Francisco and released this November.
His creative hyperactivity has recently led him to write the soundtrack for The Pretenders, the new film by the director and actor James Franco, and to participate as an actor in the indie film Passing Through, directed by Jason Massot.
