This lied recital concert will include performances by the Catalan tenor Eduard Mas and the Catalan pianist Marta Puig.The concert with national artists will include performances by the Catalan tenor Eduard Mas and the Catalan pianist Marta Puig. In 2012, Mas was awarded the Kathleen Ferrier Society Bursary for Young Singers and in 2017 he was a finalist in the competition by the same society. He is currently completing his vocal studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where he has already debuted as a soloist with the London Symphony Orchestra. Marta Puig trained at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya and finished her studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She was a soloist finalist in the Beethoven Piano Prize in London, the Arjau Competition and the Ruperto Chapí Young Performers Competition.
This concert forms part of the lied series organised by L’Auditori de Barcelona in co-production with the Associació Franz Schubert and the Centro Nacional de Difusión Musical.
