Program
The Arab world believes that everything that is to happen is alredy written. So we can believe that the presentation of the second project of the Orquestra Àrab de Barcelona was preordained. After Báraka, the OAB presents a second album that includes more of their own compositions and that features the collaboration of musicians of renowned international prestige. Under the direction of Mohamed Soulimane, the line-up speaks again of peace, integration, tolerance, love and coexistence, which it does with the sounds that define their concept: a balanced and rich mix of Moroccan and Arab musical tradition, with influences from different Mediterranean countries and from their own personality. A personailyt that is the result of the union of classicism and modernity. With Maktub, the OAB once again invites us to discover, to learn, to share. To let us be transported by emotions, cultures, languages that are different yet the same. Everything, absolutely everything, was written.
