Program

When he was appointed principal conductor of the OBC, Ono promised us the complete ‎performance of Brahms’ four symphonies: last year he completed the cycle, but, the self-‎declared follower of Brahms, will be bringing the last of the German composer’s symphonies to ‎us once again. In 2016, Kazushi Ono said: “Brahms’s clever construction of music provides a ‎perfect opportunity to work on the connection with the orchestra and to achieve a sound ‎linked to emotions. Since then, Brahms’s music has always featured on the OBC’s lecterns, ‎much to the audiences’ delight.‎We are visited by one of Europe’s most acclaimed young musicians, the clarinet soloist of the ‎Berlin Philharmonic (a position he earned at the age of 22), with the brilliant concerto by Carl ‎Maria von Weber. The programme is completed with the premiere of the most popular ‎Catalan composer, Albert Guinovart, for the participative project ET TOCA A TU (IT’S YOUR ‎TURN). This year, users of the Parc Sanitari de Salut mental de l’Obra Social Sant Joan de Déu will share the stage with the OBC.
