Nou Tast d’Orquestra
Immortal works, unrepeatable experiences
The Tast d’Orquestra at L’Auditori returns with a renewed format!
Whether you already know and love classical music or want to experience it in a new way, live and exciting – and with a healthy dose of humour – these concerts are for you!
The Barcelona Symphony Orchestra (OBC) invites you to experience the new Tast d’Orquestra sessions, a series that offers an intimate encounter with some of the greatest works in music history. Your guides on this journey will be Albert Galceran and Pedro Pardo, the incomparable Homes Clàssics (Classical Men) from Catalunya Música. Together, you’ll discover hidden details in the scores and intriguing insights into the works, the orchestra, and the composers, with the help of a live piano performance that helps them explain and demonstrate what you will later hear performed by the OBC.
The sessions will feature prestigious guest soloists, musicians from the orchestra and even unique instruments from the Museu de la Música, making each concert a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Additionally, the concerts have a reduced duration of approximately one hour, providing the perfect opportunity to share the experience of live classical music with the youngest members of the family.
Whether you are a curious novice or a seasoned connoisseur, this series offers all audiences and ages a more flexible, accessible and rewarding welcome into the world of classical music.
To continue bringing this new initiative closer to younger generations, when you buy a ticket you can get up to two additional tickets for children under 16 at a price of €5 each. Although the minimum age to attend OBC concerts is 5, we recommend that children be over 8.
And if you don’t want to miss any of the remaining dates of the New Tast d’Orquestra, with our special 3×2 pack you can enjoy the last three concerts for the price of two — that is, for just €50 . Get your pack here.
