The Festival maintains the same spirit as the festival that existed years ago going by the same name, but this time it moves to the summer. The OBC will be accompanied by three young soloists with a brilliant career: violinist Veronika Eberle, clarinettist Andreas Ottensamer and pianist Albert Cano Smit. The Orchestra will be led by conductors expert in historical music performance: Laurence Equilbey, Jonathan Cohen and Andrea Marcon. The concerts will take place at L’Auditori, the Palau de la Música Catalana, and Saló del Tinell.
Due to the current situation, this season is structured by terms of three months. That is why only tickets until December are on sale. Second-quarter tickets sale will be available shortly.
New this season is the launch of the Mozart Summer Nights Festival, during which we will explore, led by the OBC, the work of the composer from Salzburg. The Festival will kick off with our symphony masters Carles Baguer and Ferran Sor, continue with Mozart’s admired Haydn, and conclude with the work of the exceptional Romantic French composer, Louise Farrenc.
