Pianist Ludovico Einaudi is one of the most brilliant stars of contemporary music of recent decades and his melodic piano phrases demonstrate once again the healing power of music. Einaudi, born in Turin and trained under the great avant-garde composer Luciano Berio, debuts at L’Auditori with Seven Days Walking, music which is, unquestionably, the most ambitious project of his career. It features string instruments as well as his sublime piano and is inspired by his long walks through snowy mountains. Einaudi has structured this work, which is unarguably a magnum opus, into seven albums that will be released consecutively during 2019. The first, released in March, garnered such success that he has once again made history: the album, on its launch day, achieved two million streams. A pianist with an overwhelming capacity to create beauty with his compositions, the great Ludovico Einaudi returns to Barcelona with one of those projects that will, no doubt, leave a big impression. Sensitivity, excellence and emotion.
