This programme consists of lunchtime open air concerts which last 60 minutes and take place on the following Sundays:

7 May
14 May
21 May
4 June
11 June

Concerts will start at 12.45 pm.

To take part, those interested must submit a proposal by filling out this form.

The following conditions shall apply:

1. You must specify the performance payment which applies to your group; we do not pay allowances for food or transport. Payments for groups are as follows:
Groups with 2 musicians: €300 per musician
Groups with 3 to 10 musicians: €200 per musician
Groups with 10 musicians or more: €150 per musician

2. If your group is selected, the applicant must submit an invoice for the group’s performance payment plus VAT (the corresponding legal deductions shall apply to this amount), and the performing musicians must have a National Insurance number (we can provide the relevant accreditation).

3. Only one performance contract will be issued per group. The contract and the invoice must be issued by the same individual.

4. Once a group has been selected, additional musicians may not be added to it, nor changes made to any of the members of the group.

5. At least two thirds of the musicians in each group must live in Catalonia.

6. All the backline and instruments needed by the group, except the piano, shall be the responsibility of the selected group.

7. From the time a group is informed of its selection, there is a set time for the submission of the necessary documentation, for publicity purposes.

8. When a group submits a proposal, any problems regarding availability on the aforementioned dates must be disclosed. Every effort will be made to accommodate the circumstances of individual groups, as mentioned in their proposals. However, if after the programme has been complied, a group is unable to perform due to the unavailability of any of its musicians and this was not stated in the proposal, the group may be excluded from the programme.

9. Groups shall be selected by a committee made up of:
– 2 representatives from L’Auditori.
– 1 representative from AMJM (under no circumstances may they be part of any of the groups put forward for selection).
– 2 respected music professionals.

10. The committee shall select enough groups to cover the agreed dates and in addition some reserve groups to cover any potential absences.

11. During selection, value shall be placed on:
a) musicians who are members of the Catalan Association of Jazz Musicians and Modern Music (AMJM).
b) the submitted proposal not having been performed in the city of Barcelona before.
c) original compositions.

12. L’Auditori may directly award certain dates to groups outside the selection process if there is a need to make performance changes in conjunction with other institutions.

13. To take part, please fill out the following form here. The deadline for entries is Wednesday 7 December at 1 pm. Submissions received after the deadline, by whatever means, shall not be accepted under any circumstances.
