Magic tales, legends, the adventures of gods and heroes, and the songs of the oral tradition have gradually passed from oral to written collections. All this knowledge forms the basis of history and culture and, in some way, has been part of artistic creation since remote times. The Viatge a l'origen concert presents three works that add to this creative inspiration.

The concert begins with Johan de Meij's overture Spring , which narrates the magical arrival of spring in Sweden based on two popular songs from that country, and closes the first part with James Curnow 's Song of the Creatures , a suite inspired by the texts of Saint Francis of Assisi based on the love he felt for all creatures, the musical expression of a cosmogony that describes the sun, the moon, the stars, fire and mother earth.

The Book of Urize n, a visionary poem by the versatile English author William Blake (1757-1827), is the guiding thread of Jacob de Haan's eponymous music, a mix between the biblical Genesis and Exodus, through which the characters from a cosmogony by Blake himself - Enitharmon, Los and Orc -, and where Urizen is the unity of wisdom and law.
