As evidenced by 30 years of success and 5 million audience members across the world, this production has received thunderous ovations in the leading concert halls in Europe: the Musikverein in Vienna, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Philharmonie in Berlin, the Musikhalle in Hamburg, the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Palau de la Música in Barcelona, the Teatro Real and the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, etc.The programme, inspired by the traditional musical event that takes place every year in Vienna, includes the best-known works from the king of waltz: “Napoleon March”, “Flower Festival Polka”, “Emperor Waltz” and “Champagne Polka”. It will also, of course, include the most famous of all, “The Blue Danube”, and “Radetzky March” which, to the rhythm of the claps of the audience, customarily rounds off the evening.
The concert is one of the most eagerly-awaited events of the music season, owing to its exhilarating festive atmosphere and the irrepressible participation of the audience which, year after year, fills the halls. For this very reason, don’t delay in buying your tickets, as each year they usually sell out, snapped up by people looking for the perfect Christmas gift.
