El Museu de la Música, located in L'Auditori, is the space for the conservation, research and dissemination of the musical heritage of the city of Barcelona, and a space for experimentation and reflection in the context of the musical fact. Instruments, works of art, archive documents and sound recordings are a window open to musical cultures from around the world and from all times. The permanent exhibition shows more than half a thousand pieces of very diverse origin, from large baroque organs or electric guitars to more than two thousand-year-old ochreens.
