For yet another year, the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra will be joining forces with some of today's finest national and international performers and conductors of Mozart's works, raising the King of Music's star high above the city, where it will shine down just as strongly as Barcelona's dazzling, exuberant, much-desired summer sun.
The popular Festival Emergents Barcelona is back again this year to showcase the young talents who will be the stars of the music scene over the coming years. From 9 to 12 February, young musicians will perform concerts featuring classical music in all its forms, including jazz and some of the most outstanding local flamenco.
The fifth edition of Llums d’Antiga will take place in three of Barcelona’s most fascinating mediaeval buildings: the Basílica of Sant Just and Sant Pastor, the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi and the Monastery of Sant Pau del Camp.
