An ensemble consisting almost entirely of electric instruments: guitars, synthesisers and other analogue devices. This was the premise that multidisciplinary artist Stephen O’Malley, founder and guitarist of the band Sunn O))), was given to create a work for the Swiss ensemble Contrechamps.

For the first time in Spain, this programme offers two works by Stephen O’Malley, one of the leading exponents of drone metal, a sub-genre of experimental metal music in which O’Malley moulds, stretches and contracts sound, transforming it into veritable sonic sculptures.
