Multidisciplinary artist Verde Prato from Tolosa will offer a unique performance in the Sit Back programme, presenting her latest album Bizitza eztia in solo format. In this luminous sound journey that is both exquisite and, at times, mysterious and unsettling, Ana Arsuaga’s vocal and melodic sweetness blends with subtle electronica and Italian-infused beats.

Inspired by Rome and multiple aesthetic nods to artists such as Giotto and Fellini, the songs in this concept album address issues such as freedom, diversity, feminism, love, loneliness and the natural world.

With an extensive oeuvre in which traditional roots engage in dialogue with avant-garde aesthetics, Verde Prato’s recent embrace of neo-Romantic compositions and contemporary post-pop establishes the artist as one of the most exciting and representative figures of the current Basque music scene.
