PROGRAMME

Are you ready to see music and hear movement? In the new Música en dansa show, the dancers create a unique sensory experience by drawing the notes played by the orchestra with their bodies. As music and dance converge on the stage in a perfect symbiosis, every turn and melody takes the young audience on a journey filled with rhythm, excitement, and beauty.

This meeting of two forms of artistic expression creates a fascinating dialogue between instruments and bodies in motion, resulting in a form of visual poetry performed by 5th and 6th-year students from the Professional Dance Conservatory of the Institut del Teatre and the Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya (JONC).

The activity includes an online teaching guide with educational resources for use in the classroom before and after the concert: audio recordings, sheet music, activities, audiovisual materials and a brief introduction to the composers and works in the repertoire.

Alongside this event, we recommend a visit to the Museu de la Música, which you will need to book.
