PROGRAMME

Open the box and let the music transport you to a world of wonder and surprise! Toy Box is a family show brought to you by the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra (OBC), inspired by the ballet La boîte à joujoux (The Toy Box), which was composed by Claude Debussy for his daughter. The concert combines melodies by Bizet, Stravinsky and Mompou to create a sound universe where street games, music, and dance take centre stage.

Directed by Agata Zajac, assistant conductor of the OBC for the 23/24 and 25/26 seasons, and with colourful staging by Marta Pazos, the performance will take you on a sensory journey with a distinctly French flavour that will transport you back to your earliest childhood memories.
