As part of the Night of the Museums, we present two activations of Esquellòrium, the season’s major sound installation, led by Núria Andorrà with two guest artists: Fred Frith and Llorenç Barber.
Andorrà began collaborating with English guitarist, composer, and improviser Fred Frith in 2019 at a concert at Cafe Oto in London. In 2023, they recorded their first joint album, Dancing Like Dust, a work that captures both the intensity and atmospheric depth of their music.
For the second intervention, the multifaceted Llorenç Barber will join the performance. A key figure in musical experimentation in Spain, Barber is particularly known for his urban symphonies with bells.
