Programme
Without piano, but with vast electronic accompaniment, Berlin musician, composer, and producer Nils Frahm returns to L’Auditori to present Music for Barcelona; the unique live adaptation of one of his most ambitious and exciting projects: Music for Animals, his latest work, created during confinement.
Conceptual, expansive, and meditative, it creates an immersive experience with a tacit agreement: each listener-spectator regulates the depth of attention (and serenity) with which he or she delves deeper into the work.
A eulogy to time in continuous ‘calm’ present tense, and to nature. An intimate and subtle celebration of tone, timbre, and sound texture by one of the most inspired and eminent creators in music today.
