CONCERT TO COMMEMORATE THE 30 YEARS OF THE CATALAN CHAMBER ORCHESTRA

The Catalan Chamber Orchestra has performed around 600 concerts throughout its career in Europe, Central and South America, Tunisia, the Lebanon and China. Its repertoire takes in all eras and composers, giving special treatment to the interpretation and dissemination of Catalan music, both of contemporary composers and of past masters. Today’s programme, dedicated to W.A. Mozart, includes the debut of Mozartiana, a work commissioned for the occasion to Antonio Ballestín, winner of the first prize in the Frederic Mompou International Competition in 2010.
