Barcelona Symphony Band’s Magical World of Disney Sold Out

This Sunday, Beatriz Fernández conducts a selection of the best known soundtracks to hail ‎from the Disney factory.‎

On Sunday 8 December, the Barcelona Symphony Band ‎presents the fifth concert of the season in L’Auditori’s Sala 2 Oriol Martorell. This ‎‎sell-out concert is devoted to Walt Disney soundtracks ‎‎with music from films such as Mary Poppins, Pocahontas, ‎‎Frozen, and many more. ‎

The programme begins with the unforgettable Wizard of Oz and then whisks the audience ‎away on a magical journey through other scores from the Disney factory. The creators of ‎dreams won their first musical Oscar with Pinocchio (1940) and their latest, to date, was with ‎Coco (2017), in total garnering more than a dozen awards including those for Mary Poppins, ‎Pocahontas and Frozen. The other songs included in this programme brought to us by Beatriz ‎Fernández were also nominated. It goes without saying that the people at Disney certainly ‎know how to write music ... magical music.‎
