Barcelona Quartet Biennale

‎From 17 to 20 September, L’Auditori de Barcelona will open the ‎‎20-21 season with the first International Quartet Biennale ‎‎, a new project that we want everyone to enjoy! ‎

Over the four days, 20 works for string quartet will be performed by ‎‎7 quartets in 8 daytime and ‎‎evening concerts. The performances will be led by the renowned and ‎beloved Cuarteto Casals, supported by other new and established ‎ensembles: the Marmen, Diotima, ‎‎Cosmos, Artemis, Dalia and ‎‎Modigliani quartets.‎

This is a Cuarteto Casals initiative co-curated with L’Auditori de Barcelona and sponsored by ‎the Department of Culture and Barcelona Provincial Council in collaboration with the Catalan ‎Institute of Cultural Enterprises (ICEC), the Ramon Llull Institute and the L’Atlàntida ‎performing arts centre in Vic.‎
