Creative spirits from the contemporary jazz and improvisation scenes of France and the USA join forces in the group PANG!. Intertwining electronic music, folk, jazz, and contemporary improvisational elements, PANG! becomes a strong and profound musical torrent.

The project was initiated by The Bridge, a transatlantic network for jazz and creative music.

Ben LaMar Gay
A leading figure of Chicago’s avant-garde scene, Ben LaMar Gay explores all forms of Great Black Music with a modern sensibility. His music fuses jazz, hip-hop, blues, ragga, and tropicalia, creating a unique and vibrant sonic universe.

Sam Pluta
Composer and electronic improviser, Sam Pluta is known for transforming the laptop into a performance instrument that dialogues with top-level musicians. His work combines acoustic and electronic worlds in immersive sonic spaces, with collaborations at major festivals and ensembles worldwide.

Pascal Niggenkemper
Described as “one of the most adventurous bassists on the scene,” Pascal Niggenkemper creates music that blurs the boundaries between improvisation, pure sound, and experimentation. His work expands the sonic horizons of the double bass through innovative techniques and explorations between human and machine.
